HPC 420: The new Global Safety and Quality Management System Standard for Home, Laundry and Personal Care Products

The Foundation HPC 420 announced the publication of HPC 420, a global standard and certification scheme for Safety and Quality Management Systems for Home, Laundry and Personal Care Products. This great initiative can support the continuous improvement of safety and quality assurance in the supply chain of these non food products.

HPC 420 is developed by the Foundation for Safety, Quality and Sustainability on request of a large number of International manufacturers.  The standard is based on PAS 420, developed by the British Standards Institution. The Foundation for Safety, Quality and Sustainability has also developed FSSC 22000, the international certification scheme for Food Safety Management Systems.
